  1. Klay averages 17.9ppg off the bench and they wont pay him? 😂Ray allen averages 16ppg when they formed the big 3 in boston. Put that in perspective. Career achievement 😂😂😂😂 Those rookies aren't going to turn into allstars. Stop it!

  2. They paid him $43 Million last year and his feelings are hurt please that's ridiculous clearly he was overpaid he been with the Warriors for entire career winning four championships show some loyalty they gave you a 200 million contract after you tore your ACL then the following year you tore your Achilles play some pickleball basically they paid you over a hundred million dollars to sit out two years I don't want to hear about your feelings being hurt

  3. I like thompson but he gives you one good game then 5 or 6 stinkers then repeats that all season long plus hes not the defender he once was because of age and 2 major injuries.

  4. The problem is that alot of older players are looking at things through the OLD CBA. But, as Marlo said, "You want it to be one way, but it's the OTHER way" – The new CBA locks down salary caps and strips older, LOYAL players from getting that "Kobe Contract" rewarding them for their years with the team. If Klay wants to stay with Golden State, his best model is Miami's UD. If he wants to grab a bag, then there are plenty of teams willing to pay $$$ for 2yrs of an 80% Klay. If he wants another RING?!? Good fkn luck!

  5. The Warriors should keep Klay… IF he will come back for the right price, he's not a max contract guy and if that is what he wants, let me go find it somewhere else.

  6. Klay is just great. Only time is beating him, just like Curry.
Whether he stays or goes, Klay is an off the bench role player now, not a starter. If he goes to start anywhere else, thats ego he will not win like at GS.

  7. GSW needs to protect their reputation and resign Klay for what he thinks he is worth so that their big-3 can retire together. Don't screw this up like what Chicago did with MJ and Pippen.

  8. Klay was pressing last year, trying to get a contract. He will be fine somewhere else.

Also, warriors inexplicably stopped running rheir bread and butter split action. Mainlyto let the young guys work. So, there is no need for Klay to come back

  9. If Klay really wants to stay, he should take something like 2 year 20, with a player option for the second year. That way, if he can prove that he's worth more, he can negotiate for a better payout.

  10. Situation will findout if Klay really wants to be warriors for life. Well the franchise supported him and he still feels underpaid despite his steeply declined performance.

  11. For any contending team, where Klay is right now, he would heave Eto come of the bench as a 6th man….which is what he was doing with GSW. However as a 6th man, 20 million is probably the max deal. I would love to see him at Dallas. He would definitely get a ton of shots, without having to move as much.

  12. if they really wanted Klay, why did they wait until now to sign him? Test the market and what what you can, Klay! They did you dirty not seeing you as part of the dynasty.

  13. I love Klay Thompson, but MAN! You got paid $66MIL+ to sit at home and rehab. You were paid the years you played prior. This was not an IOU. You had a chance to put up elite numbers in 2023 and your performance in the Playin was atrocious. Three years @ $18MIL/year is more than fair to retire a Warrior and Champion. $320MIL is not too shabby for a career. At $18MIL a year and releasing Chris Paul, the Warriors will have the $12.9MIL mid-level exception which will hopefully bring in a solid role player. Solid team to make a run for another Championship! But money is money, go get your bigger bag even though you have more bags than you can spend in a lifetime. Love ya, Klay! Best wishes wherever you may end up.

  14. Klay staying in golden state, and paul George staying with the clippers. Both teams are still playoff contention teams, and both teams are in ideal areas to live, well into. Retirement. Im not buying anything from this reports. Even Mitchell already said he's staying with Cleveland. All this talk is to get us to stay tune.
